From drilling to final testing, the installation process is simple, structured and easy to maintain.
Confirm Position And Drill Holes
Confirm the hole location and size before drilling. Drill the fixing holes for the fresh air unit and the opening for the indoor air outlet.
- Confirm the exact installation position.
- Drill the fixing holes for the main unit.
- Drill the air outlet opening.
- Reserve enough height for filter replacement.
- Avoid load-bearing beams and unsafe wall areas.
Install The Main Fresh Air Unit
Fix the Aprilair unit to the prepared location and reinforce it from all four corners. The unit should remain vertical, stable and easy to access.
- Place the unit at the drilled position.
- Secure the main body firmly.
- Reinforce all four corners.
- Check whether the unit is level and stable.
- Make sure the front cover can be opened normally.
Install The Indoor Air Outlet
Install the indoor air outlet from inside the room and align it with the wall opening. The outlet should face an open area for better air distribution.
- Install the outlet from the indoor side.
- Align it with the wall or glass opening.
- Keep the outlet surface neat and level.
- Avoid blocking the outlet with furniture or curtains.
- Confirm smooth airflow direction.
Check Dimensions And Cable Opening
Before final fixing, check the fresh air unit fixing holes, outlet opening, inlet position and power cable opening.
- Check the main unit fixing hole position.
- Check the outlet opening position.
- Confirm the power cable opening.
- Reserve enough maintenance space.
- Keep the duct path clean and direct.
Connect And Secure The Duct
Connect the duct from the top of the fresh air unit, guide it through the wall or glass, and connect it with the indoor outlet.
- Connect the duct to the top of the machine.
- Guide the duct through the opening.
- Connect the duct to the indoor outlet.
- Fix the duct to prevent vibration.
- Confirm that the duct is not bent or blocked.
Connect Controller And Power On
Route the power cable indoors, fix it with a junction box, connect the controller and complete the final power-on test.
- Route the power cable to the indoor side.
- Confirm the socket position.
- Fix the cable neatly with a junction box.
- Connect and secure the controller.
- Power on the system and test operation.
Typical Plan For Multi-Level Homes
For a 200–300 m² villa, one Aprilair unit can be placed outdoors, in an equipment room, garden area or terrace. The fresh air outlet is usually arranged in an open area such as the living room.
Suitable reference range for many villa layouts.
